We're pleased to share some exciting news about our new fundraising program. It's called "Scrip", and it's the fundraising program that works while you shop - It Costs you nothing - "No money comes out of your pocket".
Scrip is simply a word that means "substitute money" - in other words, Scrip is shopping cards from national and local retailers. They're the same shopping cards that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including Stop & Shop, Shaws, Dunkin Donuts, Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, Unos Chicago Bar and Grill, and many, many others. You're probably asking yourself how these stores help us raise money. It's simple -- Scrip participating retailers agree to sell shopping cards to our Church at a discount. Families like yours buy the certificates for full face value, they redeem them for full face value, and our Church keeps the difference as revenue (i.e. we keep the discount). And Scrip is exciting, because everybody wins:

We have started the program slowly by purchasing Stop & Shop, Shaws, and Dunkin Donuts Shopping cards which are available to be purchased directly from the Church Office or on Sunday mornings at Services. You can also Place an Order for any other Shopping Card from anyone on the participation list and it will be here for you to use by the following week.
ORDERS ARE PLACED MONDAY NIGHTS AND CARDS WILL BE AVAILABLE THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY, perhaps even by Thursday/Friday depending on shipping schedule.
