Senior Youth Group visits Life Care Assisted Living
on January 24 & February 28. Meet 2:30 PM at church.
NEW! Single Parents Support/Social Group, Thursday, January
28th (and February 25th), 6:30 – 8:00 PM.
Join us for our first "meet & greet" on Jan
28th to launch our new support group for single parents. Feel
free to drop in at any time during this casual kickoff. There

Junior Youth Group Spaghetti Lunch, January 31st
immediately after the 10:30 worship! Tickets are now on sale
in the Atrium. Cost: $5 per person and $20 per family.
On Sunday, January 31st, worship services dedicated to
Solders Prayer Ministry. If you know someone who is serving
for our country, please sign their names and contact info
on the sheets located in the Narthex or email the church office
at plymouthumc@earthlink.net. Prayer cards with their names
on them will be produced for people to take home & pray
for them. All of our armed forces could use a prayer or two
– in fact as many prayers as possible.
Mothers of Pre-Schoolers Support Group meet on the
1st Thursday of each month. Next Meeting is February
4, 2010, 7:00 to 8:45 PM. The cost is only $4 per meeting,
including refreshments and child care! This is a monthly
speaker & discussion support group for mothers who are
expectant moms through preschool.
ROSIE’S PLACE - February 12th, we need volunteers
to cook at 7:00 PM. On February 13th we’ll
need ten volunteers to help deliver and serve lunch, 9:30
AM – 2:00 PM. Sign up is in the Atrium. If you have any
questions or like more information, please talk to Pastor
Stan.
Junior Youth Group Sundae Social & Game Night, Saturday,
February 27, 6:30 PM.
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, Class begins
Sunday, February 28, 2010, 5:00 PM. Dave Ramsey’s
Financial Peace University program is coming to PUMC. Are
you worried about too much debt, too little income, no plan
for the future, or fund for emergencies, then sign up to participate
in this 13 week DVD presentation and discussion of Dave Ramsey’s
recommendations. The class will be offered at the same time
as the church youth groups.
Dave Ramsey is a personal money manager expert, popular national
radio personality and best selling author of The Total
Money Makeover. Ramsey knows first hand what financial
peace means and has lived on a financial roller coaster. The
program will teach you new ways to look at money. It will
help you prioritize, thereby maximizing what you have and
direct you in ways of saving and planning for the future.
The discussion covers budgeting, debt, credit, insurance,
investment, real estate, generous giving and much, much more.
The program is presented in a very engaging manner. Dave Ramsey
has a great sense of humor and draws the audience in to his
teaching in a non threatening manner. This is a situation
where learning is fun. Although it is a commitment, the benefits
far outweigh the costs. Your family cost of approximately
$99 will provide you with the FPU book, workbook, CDs regarding
the topical presentations, lifetime membership and online

Sue Newell Reilly who participated in a class last year with
her 18 year old daughter, Erin, feels that everyone could
benefit from the information; seniors to teens are invited
to participate. Couples are encouraged to do the program together
for maximum benefit. If you are interested and have not yet
signed up please do so in the foyer or let the church office
